Taking action against pain

Pain that can be prevented

Chronic pain

We will help you by answering your questions and explaining the treatments we will be carrying out and how they will work.

We will record the intensity of the pain in your patient file and use the means best suited to your situation to prevent and relieve it (analgesics, non-medicinal methods, etc.).

Pain assessment starts with you, because not everyone reacts in the same way. You can measure the intensity of your pain.

There are several scales available for measuring pain intensity. Use the one that suits you best.

This measurement, which must be repeated, enables you to adapt your pain relief treatment as effectively as possible.

The traceability of pain assessment, i.e. the recording of this assessment in your patient file, is one of the quality indicators for your care in our health establishment.

If you feel any pain, contact the nursing team immediately. Don't wait, because once pain has set in it is more difficult to treat.
