Your mission at the heart of the Endo Unit
You will join our digestive and pulmonary endoscopy unit, comprising 2 intervention rooms and a dedicated processing site. Currently made up of 3 nurses, The team is looking for its future pillar to ensure excellence in care.
Your technical responsibilities:
- Operating assistance : Direct collaboration with our gastroenterologists (Dr Piera, Dr Santoni, Dr Sauch, Dr Ville, etc.) for diagnostic and interventional procedures (polypectomies, biopsies, haemostasis).
- Management of endoscopic equipment : Handling and checking video columns and flexible endoscopes.
- Health & Safety : Complete control of the high-level disinfection cycle (cleaning, disinfection in endoscope washer, rigorous traceability).
- Patient pathway : Reception, installation and post-examination monitoring in liaison with the anaesthesia team.
Profile required
The profile we're looking for 🎯
- Experience : You have at least 1 year experience in the technical platform (endoscopy, operating theatre or intensive care unit) OR you have undergone specific training in endoscopic surgery.
- Technicality : You are at ease with complex medical devices and hospital hygiene protocols.
- Team spirit : With 3 people, communication and mutual support are essential. You appreciate structures where decisions are taken together.
- Commitment: You are willing to be on call (1 week out of 3) to ensure the safety of emergency services in the Ajaccio area.

Conduct of interviews
- First Contact (15-20 min): A quick telephone conversation with our HR team or the care manager to get to know each other and check the logistical aspects (experience, on-call duty, availability).
- Technical Immersion : A face-to-face interview at the hospital with the Director of Nursing and the Ward Manager. The programme includes a tour of our technical facilities, a meeting with your 3 future colleagues and a discussion about your work.
- Final Feedback : No unnecessary suspense. Within a week of your visit, we'll give you a definitive answer. If it's a “yes”, we'll be getting ready to welcome you to sunny Ajaccio!
