Dr Arnaud Devèze is an otology and skull base surgeon at the Clairval clinic in Marseille, and Associate Professor at the Applied Biomechanics Laboratory at Aix-Marseille University.

Trained alongside Professor Jacques Magnan, a leading figure in otology, he has developed unique expertise in surgery for deafness, balance disorders and complex skull base pathologies. His academic career includes a PhD at the University of Colorado (Denver, USA), where he conducted research into hearing implants and middle ear vibrations. On his return to France, he set up an experimental research platform enabling major advances to be made in hearing implant research.

Active in the training of surgeons, he has designed innovative teaching tools, such as a realistic synthetic model of the temporal bone and ossicular chain for surgical training.
