The challenge: To be the right-hand man to our Head Chef
As a Kitchen assistant, You play a pivotal role. You're not just behind the stove; you're a real conductor, able to ensure continuity of service and to uphold the high standards of our establishment.
Your main tasks:
- Play an active role in production (preparation, cooking, presentation) while guaranteeing impeccable taste and nutritional quality.
- Ensuring that meals comply with medical prescriptions and the advice of the dietician (diets, allergies, modified textures).
- Coordinate the team, allocate tasks and pass on your know-how to the cooks and kitchen assistants.
- Mastering and strictly applying HACCP standards and the Sanitary Control Plan (SCP) to ensure total food safety.
- Contributing to stock monitoring, order optimisation and feedback from the field.
Profile required
- You have at least a CAP/BEP in cookery (Bac Pro or BTS appreciated).
- You will have proven experience in the catering or hospital sector. Knowledge of the medico-social or health sector is a real plus.
- Professional culinary techniques and specific diets hold no secrets for you.
- You are recognised for your leadership, teaching skills and sense of responsibility. Team spirit and a sense of patient service are your daily driving forces.
